The Neighbourhood Care Network is inviting community members from Urunga, who have had past involvement in the NCN - either on the Urunga Advisory Group or as a local NCN coordinator - to a one-off meeting in Urunga.

This will be an opportunity to bring you up to speed on NCN activities. Some key events and information to talk to you about include:

• A planned SIM Table event in Urunga to be organised by the Bellingen Shire Council
• An NCN - Red Cross Individual Emergency Planning workshop
• Red Cross blanket making workshops coming up; and
• the new NCN Committee

Jocelyn Box and Ottilie Bick-Simpson from the Community Resilience Team at Bellingen Council will also be attending this meeting and will lead the presentation on the planned Flood Sim Table event.

There is still much to learn about in terms of what is happening in the Disaster Preparedness Space, so we hope you are interested and keen to hear about it.
