Residents of South Bellingen and Fernmount are invited to gather together and finetune your readiness for disasters and extreme weather events.

Research tells us that communities recover better when they have connected and planned between emergencies - so join the NCN, NSW SES Bellingen Unit, NSW Fire and Rescue, North Bellingen Rural Fire Brigade, and Bellingen Shire Council to learn about local risks, what you can do to be ready and how you can link up with others in your neighbourhood to prepare together or to offer or receive help.

There will be a fire truck there for the kids along with material to help you do up your own emergency plan and prepare your property.
