Urunga Resources

On the 20 November 2022, residents of Urunga, Raleigh and surrounds gathered together for a Disaster Planning Meeting. These videos, maps and other materials were prepared for the event. We've posted them here as an ongoing resource for residents of the area.

If you would like to join a Local Neighbourhood Group in Urunga or the Coastal Villages, please register here and we will be in touch or contact the Area Coordinator Annette Carse on 02 6655 1121.

Maps

These maps are provided by the Neighbourhood Care Network and should be used as a general guide only for residents. They have not been verified, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Residents should seek independent professional advice as required relevant their individual needs and circumstances. The water depths shown are approximations only, based on a simple calculation of the modelled flood height minus elevation. The maps do not account for other potential sources of inundation, such as stormwater runoff or burst/blocked pipes, which may result in different inundation to what is depicted or inundation where none is shown. The Neighbourhood Care Network Inc is not responsible for and does not accept liability on any basis (including in negligence) for residents’ reliance on these maps, or the impact of disasters or severe weather events.
